Pirawan Numdokmai is an illustrator and visual artist who reinterprets everyday symbols into compelling, concept-driven narratives.



With a background in Industrial Design from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) and a Master’s degree in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship from Goldsmiths, University of London, her work explores themes of connection, displacement, and adaptation through experimental visual compositions.

Pirawan’s illustrations often begin with a deconstruction of familiar objects, which she transforms into symbolic representations of complex human experiences. Using sharp contrasts, geometric forms, and layered iconography, she uncovers hidden meanings and

distills emotional complexity into imagery that is both minimal

and powerful.



Her work has been exhibited at NOVA Contemporary, Chiang Mai Design Week, and Siam Society through the Friedrich Naumann Foundation. Pirawan’s conceptually driven approach offers new perspectives on contemporary visual culture. Her illustrations have been published in Elle Thailand, Living ETC, a day, and Die Welt (Germany). She has also collaborated with brands such as ASUS, Meiji Milk, and The Mall Group, extending her distinct visual language across both cultural and commercial projects.
