[Archaeology of Contemporary Desire]

This series explores contemporary conditions through objects,
collective images, and cultural remnants circulating
within contemporary capitalist systems.

Within the framework of Great Goods from Good Guests,
objects are not viewed merely as commodities, but as Material Evidence
—traces of desire, hope, anxiety, and human attempts to endure in an era
where value, truth, and memory circulate faster than ever before.

Drawing from collecting cultures, speculative economies, entertainment media,
market systems, and the increasingly blurred landscapes of everyday life,
the works employ processes of alteration, movement, reduction,
and reconstruction to reveal the structures of power, economy, belief,
and collective psychology that shape our contemporary condition.

Rather than presenting beauty as an end in itself,
these works function as Physical Conclusions—material records
of the relationship between human beings and contemporary systems
through matter, imagery, surface, memory, and movement.

This series does not seek to answer how much an object is worth.

Instead, it poses a question to the viewer:
What do we choose to value today, and why do we continue to believe in it?
